Oh and alsoo...
THESE SHOES:
I don't know what brand they are, or who designed them, but I LOVE them. I saw them on this website: www.thisisnotnew.com, and fell in love with them immediately. Gahhhh. I love heels! I might have to splurge and get something very similar (but still affordable) if I see them anywhere within the next few days/weeks...I'll keep you all updated. Mmmm fashion..I'm not that terribly into it, but when I see something I like, I'm hooked.

Music Sets My Soul Aflame:
I feel most alive when I sing. When I perform, I take on a whole different persona. I don't believe that I would be the same person that I am today if I hadn't of picked up the guitar in my 8th grade. Now, age 21, 7 years later after first playing my first few, simple chords, I'm more in love with music than I ever have been. The inspiration comes daily. I'm in love with life, music, love, the world, and everything else that comes with it.

Ethical Dilemma:
It's 8 minutes until class starts...why St. Edward's holds classes at 5:25-6:40 and not from 5:30-6:45 bothers the hell out of me. But whatevs, I'll roll with it for now. I'm waiting for my ethics class to start right now, and of course, I'm stumbling to keep my mind entertained for the next several minutes. We haven't had class in a week now, and I'd skipped the last Thursday class I was supposed to attend even then before he canceled. So I no officially have not been to this class in 2 whole weeks. Yikes. I hope I don't slack off this much next year..but who gives a fuuuu. It'll be my senior year anyways so I'm not too worried about all that just yet :) Anyways, here's some pretty pictures I've been stumbling through...
I love anchors..this last picture is one of my favorites. And I don't take credit for any of the pictures I've posted, unless I state otherwise - I usually just peruse people's tumblrs and stumbleupon to find pictures that catch my eye and then save them to my pictures on my computer. Anyways. Class now starts in 3 minutes, so I suppose I should put my laptop away now...gr...although class would be a whole lot more entertaining with some stumbling to keep me amused....
Bill Fucking Murray.

Dream housess...
So as I've been creeping the interwebs lately, doing lots of stumbling (when I probably should be studying instead..whoooops!) and such, I've discovered just how much I really, really want to live in a house. Especially some of the ones that I'm about to post...
I'm so ready to live off campus, have a real job, be a real grown up, do grown up things, and get to live in a house. Now of course I'd love to live in a house with more than just myself, but that's not something to think about for a ways down the road. For now I'll keep dreaming of my future dream house...one day, one day...

The Weigh In: Counting the Days to Summer...
So. I have a goal to lose 20lbs by June 1st. And I know it's mid-way through April already, buuuut I made a goal that by June first, I will have lost my target weight...and I don't think it's asking too much of me either. I know that as soon as I remove caffeine + gluten from my diet then I'll be on the right track already.
I'm gluten intolerant to begin with (which means that gluten basically just doesn't metabolize in my system.. it turns straight to fat and it's a lot harder for me to take off weight then it is for most people, due to my hypoglycemic thyroid...yes, it's a lottta problems I gotta deal with unfortunately), and so I've been eating waaaaay too much bread/flour/wheat products lately, so I know that as soon as I get back on the right diet, then I'll be able to feel a whole lot better about the way I look, my body, etc. Which means I'll have to cut out foods like this:
And of course I know my body will never be perfect, but I'm about to make damn sure that I do my best to get it up to my best standards! In all of this I found some femmages that I thought were inspiring enough to keep encouraging me to workout/eat right:
And I know...I'm not a supermodel. These women are most likely photoshopped in some way..but still. I can't help but look and be a teensie bit jealous at how fabulous they're bodies (especially they're abs..way to go ladies!) look. I know I'll probably never look like any of the ladies pictured above, but at least it gives me a goal to work for... three cheers for optimism, eh?

ps. wish me luck through all of this..it's going to take a loooot of willpower to stay away from all this damn bread/gluten that always seems to be everywhere I go!
Traveling Soul...
Although my plans for studying abroad this summer fell through, I'm still looking forward to what the rest of my life holds. Regardless of what I'm doing, who I'll with, my job, etc., I want to travel the world and see it for myself. I've lived in TX my entire life, and now I'm itching to see what else this beautiful globe has to offer me.
Tattoo ideas:
So after Friday night, in which Chris and I decided to skip out on going to see Scream 4 and instead went to get me a new piece for my dermal piercing (I got a little star! It's so cute. I might post pics later but it's so teeny tiny that you might not be able to even see it.), we ended up heading out to the drag after spending almost an hour looking at tattoo designs on the internet. Both of us want to get a tattoo one day (I think me a few more than him...), hopefully I'll be getting mine relatively soon, within the next few months (If I can save up the cash! yikes. they get pretttttty pricey) - the first idea which I've always wanted to get is an owl on my back left shoulder, sitting on a little limb. In that limb I want it to say "Sapre Aude," which is Latin for "Dare to Think." I've always had trouble expressing myself to people sometimes, always letting myself get walked all over and sometimes taken advantage of, and so in getting this I feel like I'd have a permanent reminder to stay strong, have courage, and use my wisdom to speak my mind whenever I feel I need to. Also, l I just really love owls in general. I find them comforting, and I love that they're a symbol of wisdom and knowledge. I also think that I'm going to be the crazy owl lady one day because now every time someone sees an owl related object or something that has to do with the owls, I tend to be the first person they think of.
These are just a few ideas that I really like...I like the second to last and last one a lot, sooo I might see about getting something combined between the 2..I already have a drawn out owl that someone's done for me, but I might make him redo it just to see what these two designs above would like like infused together.
I also really want to get flowers going up my side, half in blacklight/ultraviolet ink, half in regular link. I think it would look wicked awesome to have the flowers fade into nothing but then when you stand under the ultraviolet light it shows up. So. COOL. I also love blue flowers, sooo I've been looking at a lot of designs along the side with some blue flowers to help jumpstart my imagination:
I'm obsessed. Now I just have to make sure that I don't end up spending all my money on tattoos and piercings and save a little for the summer :-P
I know that I want a tattoo badly enough to the point that I will most likely have one of these designs done by the end of the summer. Ooooof. It's gunna be a lot, but I know I can save enough to get it done. Grrrr. I've been a piercing fanatic all my life, but now I feel like the tables are turning and I really, really, really want to get a tattoo done. After going on Friday night to get my dermal piercing decor switched out to a little star, just being back in a tattoo shop made me crave one sooooo bad! It WILL happen, hopefully sometime soon.
Anyways, happy week ahead to you all! We only have a 3 day week this week..hoorraaay! Three cheers for going to a Catholic school so that this is possible for us. I think I'm going to try and take a trip up to IKEA with Chris maybe on Thursday or Friday, since we're both out of class and I only work Thurs. and Sat. evening. It's looking to be a good week ahead :)
Cheers, and much love to you, always and everyday!
